Dress Code

FIMdancers are required to wear a wide strap leotard & tights for all class practices with an appropriate cover-up. If your child is registered in a class duration of 60 minutes or more, they are also required to order a FIMdance unitard for $75, which will be utilized for community events and is also acceptable for practice. Male dancers will practice in a T-shirt & sweat pants or fingertip length shorts.

• Cover-ups include: leggings, ballet skirt, sweat, capri or yoga pants, fingertip length shorts
• All leotards MUST be accompanied with tights AND appropriate technique cover-up
• Hair MUST be secured away from the face in a ponytail or bun
• Dancer MUST have proper dance shoes for the technique(s) in which they are enrolled
• NO street shoes, hot pants, jeans, spaghetti straps, writing on buttocks
• NO gum, candy, food, jewelry (except wedding band), or cell phones permitted in dance rooms

* Modest clothing with full coverage should be worn at all times & appropriate for a co-ed class *
